Description

Our #1 Razor Strop comes in two colors: Black Harness Leather or Undyed Natural Leather. These strops measure 22 inches long and 2.5″ wide not counting the handle or hanger. They are very well made and with proper care, should give good service for generations to come. This strop is made using two straps fastened together with chicago screws. Start off stropping on the flesh side for a few strokes then flip it over and finish honing on the front for a razor sharp edge. After about 40 or so years take the screws out and flip the leathers over, reassemble and you have a brand new strop.

I grabbed a strop when Charles first started making them years ago; it hangs on my bedroom doorknob and I can touch up my EDC blade daily, if needed. Itโ€™s turned out to be even handier than I thought it would. This is a high quality piece of leather that will way outlast me. Now that I have this I donโ€™t mind putting a finer edge on my blades; this strop makes quick tuneups much more convenient.

Leather Care.

We build hand boned, hand fitted holsters. They are treated with our proprietary blend of oils when we build them. You should not have to apply any sort of oil or conditioner to the leather for at least a year or two. When you think the holster needs oiling, wait a year and then apply a very light coat of neatsfoot oil to the leather with your finger. Over oiling your holster will result in the holster losing it’s shape and rigidity rendering the holster unusable.
